The Information Compliance Office sits within the Governance and Compliance Division and deals with all matters relating to information legislation (principally the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Freedom of Information Act 2000). It provides advice, training and guidance to members of University staff, manages requests for information and personal data under the relevant legislation, and develops policy in these areas.
